Best of Nature-Natural History Museum

I'm honored to be included in the Best of Nature photography installation on display at the Natural History Museum in San Diego for the third straight year. 72 images were chosen for display out of 1000 entries. To atone for my notable absence of late on my blog, I've decided to have another print giveaway. One of the following ten images, counting left to right, top to bottom was the jurors selection. I'll print an 8x10 or 8x12 for the person to correctly guess the chosen one first. You can email your guess or post it below.

Free print contest

I did this last year, masterworkimage.blogspot.com/2009/06/fun-with-blogs.html, and again submitted images for the 'Best of Nature' show this year. Out of 2000 plus entrees, 70 were selected to be displayed in the Natural History Museum at Balboa Park, San Diego. I submitted the following ten images and one of them was chosen. As I did last year, I'll send an 8x10 or 8x12 print to whomever guesses the correct one. My buddy Toby Coughron won last year and posted about it here, tobycphoto.blogspot.com/2009/07/i-got-mail.html.

For those near SD, the show runs 11/13/10 through 1/30/11, was spectacular last year and should be well worth a visit again this year.

Fun with blogs

The Ordover gallery recently had a call for entries; those chosen would be displayed in the 'Best of Nature' show in the Natural History Museum at Balboa Park, San Diego.  They received 2000 plus images and chose 70 for the show.  I submitted the ten images below and had one of them chosen.  If you'd like to guess the one you think it was, feel free to post your choice as a comment or email me.  I think you need a google or blogger account to comment, but that’s easy enough to get.  I'll send the winner an 8x10 or 8x12 print of their choice.  If there's more than one correct guess, I’ll employ highly scientific methods to randomly select one, or maybe just close my eyes and point.  I'll announce the winner in two weeks.
